i went to jo-ann’s today on a whim, saw this birdy fabric, and knew what i had to do. i got two yards, came home and cut up a V-neck tee shirt for a “pattern”, sewed away while it was raining & grey outside, and behold! about four hours later (a lot of pinning, undoing stitches, ironing, and rethreading my bobbin) i have this adorable larkspur dress :)

pretty proud of it. this is the first thing i’ve made that’s way wearable since about 11th grade.
